Centre Pompidou Mobile: an exhibition in its own image: Innovative, Audacious and Strong. One shakes things up in the world of insurance, the other in the world of culture: A meaningful commitment for La Parisienne. Centre Pompidou Mobile is a project that is innovative, audacious and strong: A travelling museum, built around a structure that can be dismantled and transported, and designed to adapt to any type of environment and terrain. It is used to display both contemporary art and works by artists such as Matisse, Picasso, Léger or other famous names of the 20th century. « We like the energy and audacity of this project: It offers culture that is accessible to everyone, a strong indication of its openness to areas that are far from cultural centres. We also like the spirit of simplicity and friendliness in which it was built; the spirit of the circus and the fairground stall. All the ingredients have been brought together to make this museum a place suitable for a public that is unfamiliar with museums,»stated the Protegys Group’s CEO, Olivier Jaillon, at the project’s launch in May 2011. |
